Courvoisier, Neuchatel, circa 1870.
Beautiful case with spring-hinged covers front and rear decorated with fancy gold floral
engraving, a band of alternating blue and white enamel, and diamond set centers all
against a black enamel background. White enamel dial (clean hairline) with blued steel
Breguet hands. Good gilt 15 jewel keywind lever movement. A few typical enamel surface
scratches. With a gold bail which can be easily removed.
