Fine early English silver pair case verge and fusee antique pocket watch with sun
and moon dial by John Trubshaw, London, circa 1695.
Wonderful silver repousee champlevee dial with cut-out for the blued steel disk
with gold sun and silver moon that serves as the hour hand. The movement with
fine large pierced Egyptian pillars, fine large pierced and engraved balance cock with
streamers, the foot and regulator plate also pierced and engraved.
The case with fancy bow, typical pendant repair, and missing shutter to the winding hole.
A most handsome example.
