Fine and rare Dutch sun and moon dial silver repouse and enamel fat pair case calendar antique
pocket watch by G. Knip, Amsterdam, circa 1750.
Wonderful silver champleve dial with large aperture for a rotating sun and moon dial with pointers for
the hours. Applied repousse plack below with a scientific allegory. Small aperture at 6:00 for the date.
The case with heavy repouse designs, the back with a fully restored painted enamel scene.
The movement with large floral pierced and engraved double footed balance cock
and tapered square pillars. A wonderful watch in lovely condition.
