Fine and extremely rare Russian bone pocket watch and chain almost certainly by Bronnikov circa 1865. The watch and chain carved almost entirely from bone. Cracked back cover. The bone has shrunk over the decades and the watch does not run.
Bronnikov was famous for his wooden watches and this is one of the few examples he made in bone.
