Fine Swiss 18K gold jumping quarter seconds chronograph by Huguenin, Locle,
circa 1860.
White enamel dial with black markings and blued steel hands.
Heavy 18K gold engine turned and engraved hunting case with chronograph button
in the band. High grade nickel 25 jewel movement. (needs cleaning)
The chronograph chapter is calibrated in quarter seconds and the subsidiary dial
makes it easy to read. When the chronograph is activated the jump seconds hand
"flies" around the dial making one revolution each second. Marvelous.
