Fine and very rare gilt and painted enamel antique watch circa 1690, the case by Freres
Huaud, Geneva, and the movement by Markwick, London.
The case back (rubbed) with a beautifully painted allegorical scene, the sides (repairs) and interior
also painted. The exceptional movement with silver cock with streamers, pierced and engraved foot,
and glazed center. The pillars with double-headed creatures. Later dial (repair) and blued steel
