Fine and interesting Hampden 14K gold 18 size Railroad model antique pocket watch in a factory
converted case, circa 1878.
White enamel dial (tiny chip in the eccentric seconds chapter) with fancy blued steel hands.
Full plate nickel 15 jewel movement with screwed jewel settings. Spring-hinged front with
inner bezel.
This watch started out as a full hunter and was converted to open face at the factory, which
required the manufacture of a special dial.
